As the son of a carpenter as well as an avid collector of DVDs Blu−rays, CDs with books my interest in media bookshelves is obvious. I have created my website to help others find the perfect bookcases, bookshelves in−conjunction with media storage furniture for them.
Modular Bookcases : Modular bookcases are easily adapted to suit any room no matter of shape, size or style although typically they suit modern rooms. They are an adaptation of characteristic bookshelves in which the usual horizontal slates of wood are replaced with interlocking also interwoven slates of wood glass or metal, making a modern cubist feel.
Barrister Bookcases : Barrister Bookcases are so named because they were typically used to hold heavy law books. They are commanding bookcases that have sliding doors with large deep shelves, meaning they will be most at home in large rooms. Whilst they are typically used to hold antique as well as large books they could also be used for large DVD plus Blu−ray boxsets. The fact that they have glass doors means that they offer extra protection to the media they are housing.
